Modi Govt's Achievements so far

1. Modi has taken up and often successfully pushed through, decades' old issues, which all parties conveniently pushed under the carpet. Examples are One Rank One Pension, Defence equipment indigenization, standing up to the bully China (despite his initial Xi Bromance), agricultural reforms, removing bogus beneficiaries through DBT, giving poor bank accounts, GST, completing age old projects like Bogibeel bridge, big infrastructure push across India and especially the border areas, etc. and the list is huge. 

2. Biggest achievements so far are removal of Article 370 and saving Kashmir from slipping out of India's hands (remember how even school kids and women were paid by Pakistan for throwing stones and flying ISIS flag,) stopping frequent terrorist attacks across India, etc. During previous years, there were bomb blasts on and off across India 

3. He has built strong bridges with many countries. Saudi, UAE, have built special relationship with India to encourage trade and investments.

4. Under Modi highest ever - tax to GDP ratio & exports in a year

5. Lots of defence items reserved for domestic production..Huge incentive to private defence production and research. Before Modi almost all defence equipment were imported. Latest is Air to Air missiles beyond visual range made by Bharat Dynamics Ltd 

6. Modi govt has set new highway construction speed and quality benchmarks. Before Modi kms per day construction was 12..now it's 37. Before Modi India had built 91,287 kms of highways. Modi's govt added 50% more taking it to 1,41,000 kms. Almost all new Highways are of the latest international standards.

7. Significantly increasing the no. of medical colleges across the country, at least one per district. Multiple super speciality hospitals being built too.

9. Paid special attention to the Northeast. 1. 39,000 crores spent by IR in NE for bettering connectivity - world’s highest pier bridge, first ever goods train in Manipur,

17. Metro Revolution' To note, in 2014, only five cities had a Metro network. Today, that figure stands at 20 cities. In 2014, the entire Metro network in the country was 248 km. Today, the total Metro network in the country is 775 km.

28. Sela tunnel in Arunachal Pradesh completed in 4 years despite Covid at nearly 10000 feet and multiple highway tunnelsat world record low cost of just rs 700 crore. Atal tunnel planned in 2000 took 20 years because of UPA delays 

29. Deesa airbase, near Pakistan border, approved for construction by Modi. Important for India's Western defence. The proposal was ignored by UPA govt for 14 years.
